Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems , ensuring special requests are noted and fulfilled
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards for hotpot restuarant.
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Manage cash handling, process payments accurately, and close out checks efficiently using POS systems like OpenTable or other restaurant software
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and assisting with food handling and preparation when needed
• Provide exceptional guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments.
• Proficiency with POS systems .
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling techniques
• Ability to upsell menu items confidently while respecting guest preferences
• Experience with host/hostess duties or bussing enhances your ability to support the team effectively
• Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy
• Culinary knowledge or kitchen experience is beneficial for understanding food preparation and presentation standards
