Server

Longtab Brewing Company is a veteran-owned brewery and restaurant in the NW area of San Antonio which honors the history and culture of US Army Special Forces, or “Green Berets”.

We are seeking a reliable, energetic, and experienced Server / Bartender to join our team. If you have a passion for fast casual (slightly upscale) dining food industry and enjoy providing excellent customer service, we would love to hear from you.

Fast-food only experience will be declined.

Job Description

• Provide outstanding table and/or bar service
• Take orders on our Square POS.
• Learn Longtab's mission and history
• Properly pour beer in the correct glassware
• Properly prepare and serve espresso based coffee drinks
• Understand the brewing process and different beer styles
• Open or close as required and follow opening and closing checklists
• Cleaning and sanitizing as required
• Represent Longtab brand and culture through proper appearance and wearing of a Longtab branded uniform shirt

Requirements

• Must hold a current TABC Seller Server training
• Must read, sign, and adhere to the Longtab Company Agreement and Policy Handbook
• Must have or be able to obtain Cicerone Beer Server certification within 30 days of hire date.
• All candidates are subject to a basic background check which includes National Criminal Search(Standard), Sex Offender Search, SSN Trace, and Global Watchlist Search
• 1+ years of waitstaff / table service experience
• Standing for long periods of time
• Ability to bend, push, pull, lift and carry 30lbs and walk up and down steep stairs
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Veteran a plus
