Duties

• Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, providing detailed descriptions of dishes and specials.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted.
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness.
• Upsell menu items, beverages, and desserts to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales.
• Assist with food handling, sanitation, and basic food preparation to support kitchen operations when needed.
• Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring a positive dining experience.
• Maintain cleanliness in dining areas, bus tables efficiently, and support host/hostess duties as necessary to ensure smooth service flow.

Qualifications

• Prior restaurant or food service experience.
• Proficiency with POS systems for order processing and cashiering.
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally.
• Demonstrated time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours.
