Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Host/Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional guest services, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere, and delivering high-quality food service. This role requires excellent communication skills and a passion for hospitality.

Duties

• Greet and seat guests promptly, ensuring a positive first impression.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently using the Toast POS system.
• Provide menu recommendations and answer any questions regarding food items or specials.
• Ensure timely delivery of food and drinks to guests, maintaining attention to detail.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the dining area and service stations.
• Handle guest inquiries or concerns with professionalism, providing solutions as needed.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service operations.
• Support other team members in various roles as required to enhance guest experience.

Skills

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with guests and team members.
• Proficient phone etiquette for handling reservations and guest inquiries.
• Experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is preferred, particularly in food service roles.
• Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on helping guests have an enjoyable dining experience.
