Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly, attentive, and professional Server to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will excel in providing exceptional guest experiences in a fast-paced environment, ensuring food and beverage service meets high standards of quality and hospitality. Experience with POS systems and a strong background in food service or fine dining will be highly valued. This role offers an opportunity to showcase excellent customer service skills while working in a vibrant hospitality setting.

Duties

• Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, offering recommendations and upselling where appropriate
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining a high level of guest satisfaction
• Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety standards are upheld throughout service
• Assist with setting up tables, bussing, and maintaining cleanliness of dining areas during shifts
• Manage cash handling and cashiering responsibilities accurately at the end of each shift
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any issues promptly
• Provide guest relations by addressing questions, special requests, or concerns professionally and courteously
• Support team members during busy periods and contribute to a positive work environment

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality industry preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is highly desirable
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to upsell menu items effectively
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours
• Basic math skills for cash handling and billing accuracy
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights; previous host/host or bussing experience is advantageous
• Strong communication skills and a professional appearance
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
