Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements using reservation systems such as OpenTable or similar platforms
• Take accurate orders using POS systems like Toast, ensuring proper food handling and allergy considerations
• Provide detailed menu descriptions, recommend specials, and upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales
• Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
• Manage guest inquiries, resolve concerns efficiently, and ensure overall guest satisfaction through excellent customer service
• Clear tables, bus tables as needed, and maintain cleanliness in dining areas to uphold sanitation standards
• Assist with food preparation or kitchen support during busy periods when necessary, demonstrating versatility in food industry roles

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, particularly in fine dining or nightclub settings
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Toast Pos
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
• Demonstrated time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours
• Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Experience with cashiering, cash handling, basic math skills for billing accuracy, and food preparation basics
• Familiarity with serving techniques including bussing tables and supporting host/hostess responsibilities when needed
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment
