Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring efficient communication with kitchen staff
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and presentation
• Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering systems; process payments using POS systems like OpenTable or similar platforms
• Assist with food handling, food preparation support, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas
• Foster positive guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction

Experience

• Previous restaurant experience in food service or hospitality roles is highly preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
• Experience in fine dining settings or nightclubs is a plus, demonstrating ability to adapt to diverse environments
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Excellent guest service skills with a friendly demeanor and effective communication abilities
• Basic math skills for cash handling and order calculations are essential
