Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly, provide menus, and answer questions about food and beverages with confidence and enthusiasm
• Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Toast POS, or OpenTable, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining proper food handling and sanitation standards
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Manage guest relations by addressing requests promptly, resolving issues professionally, and ensuring overall satisfaction
• Assist with bussing tables, resetting dining areas when needed to ensure smooth operations
• Follow all food safety protocols and sanitation procedures to uphold health standards in food service

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs
• Strong knowledge of POS systems including Toast POS, OpenTable for seamless order processing
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that fosters guest loyalty
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing time effectively
• Basic math skills for cash handling, cashiering, and accurate billing procedures
• Culinary or kitchen experience is a plus for understanding food preparation and presentation standards
• Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques
• Experience with upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities while enhancing guest satisfaction
• Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and ensure smooth service flow

Pay: $16.90 per hour
