Overview
We are seeking a friendly, attentive Server to join our dynamic team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, food industry knowledge, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Experience with POS systems and fine dining service is preferred, along with a passion for hospitality and guest relations. This role offers an opportunity to be part of a reputable establishment committed to quality service and culinary excellence.

Must be bilingual (looking for Spanish speaking) Swing Shift 2pm-10pm for now could go to morning when summer comes.

Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and sales
• Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
• Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments efficiently
• Assist with food handling, preparation, and sanitation duties as needed to ensure food safety standards are met
• Clear tables, bus tables, and maintain cleanliness of the dining area during shifts
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any guest concerns promptly
• Provide excellent guest relations by addressing questions about menu items, dietary restrictions, or special requests
• Support host/hostess duties when necessary, including seating guests and managing reservations

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality industry preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
• Ability to upsell menu items effectively to increase sales opportunities
• Basic math skills for cash handling and billing accuracy
• Experience with food preparation or kitchen operations is advantageous but not required
• Must be able to work flexible hours including nights; previous host/hostess or bussing experience is beneficial
