Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong understanding of food and beverage offerings. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests while ensuring efficient service and adherence to food safety standards.

Duties

• Greet and seat guests promptly, providing them with menus and information about daily specials.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using the Aloha POS or Micros POS systems.
• Deliver food and drinks to tables in a timely manner, ensuring all orders are correct.
• Upsell menu items and promote specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including bussing tables and assisting with sanitation efforts.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and address any guest concerns.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments through the POS system.
• Provide exceptional guest services by responding to inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
• Assist with food preparation as needed, adhering to food safety guidelines.

Skills

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred, particularly in fine dining or nightclub environments.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with guests.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours.
• Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards.
• Familiarity with OpenTable for reservations management is a plus.
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing.
• Culinary experience or kitchen knowledge is beneficial for understanding menu items.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining a positive attitude.
