In this role, you will deliver exceptional customer service by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring every guest leaves satisfied and eager to return. Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Handle food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures diligently to maintain health standards
• Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to ensure a welcoming environment
• Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately and efficiently during transactions
• Utilize reservation platforms like OpenTable to coordinate seating arrangements and optimize guest flow
• Foster positive guest relations through excellent communication, attentive service, and resolving any concerns promptly

Experience

• Previous restaurant or food service experience is highly preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices
• Demonstrated ability in customer service, upselling, and sales techniques
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Experience with food handling, basic math for cashiering, and guest relations enhances success in this role
• Prior host/hostess or serving experience provides a solid foundation for delivering exceptional guest experiences
• Strong teamwork skills
