Duties

• Greet guests warmly, present menus, and provide detailed descriptions of menu items to enhance their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
• Upsell menu items and specials to maximize sales while maintaining guest satisfaction
• Serve food and drinks professionally, ensuring proper presentation and adherence to food safety standards
• Assist with food handling, sanitation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff when needed
• Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring overall guest happiness
• Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering systems like OpenTable or POS terminals, including basic math calculations

Requirements

• Previous restaurant experience or food industry background, including fine dining or nightclub settings preferred
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest relations
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus
• Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to manage time efficiently in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor that fosters guest loyalty
• Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing; experience with cashiering is advantageous
• Culinary or kitchen experience is beneficial but not required; willingness to learn is essential
