Server (Opening Team)

Luga Italian Eatery is seeking experienced, hospitality-driven servers to join our opening team in Decatur.

Luga is a modern Italian restaurant focused on exceptional hospitality, elevated Italian cuisine, and a thoughtfully curated wine and cocktail program. Our goal is to become a neighborhood favorite known for genuine hospitality, great food, and memorable experiences.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional guest experiences from greeting through payment
• Guide guests through food, wine, cocktail, and beverage selections
• Demonstrate strong menu knowledge and confidently answer guest questions
• Accurately enter orders and manage multiple tables efficiently
• Work closely with bartenders, support staff, and kitchen team members
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional dining room
• Follow all service standards, policies, and safety procedures

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of serving experience in a full-service restaurant
• Upscale casual or fine dining experience preferred
• Strong food, wine, and cocktail knowledge
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
• Ability to remain composed and professional during busy services
• Weekend and evening availability required
