Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and assist them with menu selections, providing detailed descriptions and recommendations to enhance their dining experience.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery.
• Upsell menu items and specials to maximize sales while maintaining genuine guest engagement.
• Serve food and drinks efficiently, adhering to food safety standards and sanitation protocols.
• Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring complete satisfaction throughout their visit.
• Clear tables, bus tables, and assist with food handling or kitchen support as needed to maintain cleanliness and flow of service.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering duties like processing payments and giving change.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of restaurant operations, including reservation systems like OpenTable, to support guest seating and waitlist management.

Experience

• Previous restaurant experience in food service or hospitality roles is preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub environments.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly advantageous.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence.
• Experience in food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations.
• Ability to multitask effectively with excellent time management skills during busy shifts.
• Knowledge of upselling techniques to enhance sales opportunities while providing exceptional service.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and transaction processing.
• Previous host/hostess or serving experience is a plus, demonstrating strong communication and guest interaction skills. Pay: $15.00 - $27.00 per hour
