Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring efficient communication with kitchen staff
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Serve food and drinks promptly, maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and presentation
• Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to support smooth operations
• Manage cash handling and cashiering duties accurately at the end of each shift
• Use reservation management tools like OpenTable to coordinate seating arrangements and optimize guest flow

Experience

• Previous restaurant or food service experience is highly preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Square or Toast POS is advantageous
• Demonstrated skills in guest relations, customer service, and food handling
• Experience in upselling, sales techniques, and managing multiple tables efficiently
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and basic math for cash handling
• Prior host/hostess or serving experience is a plus, along with kitchen or food industry background
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts
