About the Role

Sakana Sushibar & Japanese Cuisine is looking for an energetic, guest‑focused Server to join our front‑of‑house team. We’re a fast‑paced, high‑quality Japanese restaurant known for fresh sushi, warm hospitality, and a team culture built on respect and pride in our craft.

What You’ll Do

• Provide exceptional service — greet guests, guide them through the menu, and deliver a memorable dining experience
• Manage tables efficiently — take orders accurately, run food, handle payments, and maintain a clean section
• Collaborate with the team — support hosts, bartenders, and sushi chefs to keep service smooth
• Upsell menu items — recommend dishes, specials, and beverages
• Maintain restaurant standards — follow health, safety, and cleanliness guidelines

What We’re Looking For

• Restaurant serving experience preferred (Japanese cuisine experience is a plus)
• Strong communication and multitasking skills
• Positive attitude and team‑first mindset
• Ability to work weekdays, weekends, and busy shifts
• Must be 21+

Compensation

• Hourly wage + tips
• Average take‑home varies by shift volume
• Employee meals or discounts (50% off on one shift meal)
