Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong understanding of food and beverage offerings. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests while ensuring efficient service and adherence to food safety standards.

Duties

• Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner, providing excellent guest relations.
• Present menus, take orders, and accurately input them into the POS system.
• Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring that all items are prepared according to guest specifications.
• Upsell menu items and promote specials to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and resetting them for new guests.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change as needed (cash handling experience required).
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery while adhering to sanitation and food safety guidelines.
• Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly, ensuring satisfaction throughout their dining experience.
• Assist with training new staff members on restaurant procedures, menu items, and customer service standards.

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant roles, with breakfast experience preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with guests.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy shifts.
• Familiarity with Yelp or similar reservation systems is a plus.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and processing payments accurately.
• Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards in the food industry.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining professionalism under pressure.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $2.13 - $20.00 per hour
