Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly, attentive Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest service in a fast-paced environment, ensuring a memorable dining experience for all patrons. Experience with food handling, POS systems, and customer relations is highly valued. Duties

• Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
• Ensure timely delivery of orders and check on guests throughout their meal
• Handle cash and process payments accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties
• Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations through bussing and sanitation practices
• Assist with food preparation or kitchen support as needed in a collaborative environment
• Uphold food safety standards and proper sanitation procedures at all times
• Provide guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns, and ensuring overall satisfaction

Experience

• Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred, especially in fine dining or hospitality settings
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is a plus
• Experience in food handling, sanitation, and food safety protocols is desirable
• Background in customer service roles like host/hostess or nightclub service enhances candidacy
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Ability to upsell menu items through effective sales techniques
• Knowledge of the food industry standards for serving, food preparation, and guest relations is beneficial
• Basic math skills for billing, cash handling, and transaction processing are essential
