Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
• Manage cash handling, cashiering, and open/close procedures efficiently using POS systems like OpenTable
• Maintain food safety and sanitation standards by adhering to proper food handling and sanitation protocols
• Assist with bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and supporting kitchen staff when needed to ensure smooth operations

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor that creates welcoming guest relations
• Ability to manage time effectively during busy hours while maintaining attention to detail
• Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and basic math for cash handling and check splitting
• Experience with food preparation, food industry standards, and serving techniques is a plus
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
