Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in providing exceptional dining experiences. This position will start July 1. The position offers 1 to 2 - 6hr shifts per week, and stop gap opportunities as they arise. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in delivering outstanding guest services, ensuring that each patron feels welcomed and valued. This position requires strong communication skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Duties

• Greet and seat guests promptly upon arrival, ensuring a warm and friendly atmosphere.
• Present menus, provide detailed information about menu items, and make recommendations based on guest preferences.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using a cash register or point-of-sale system.
• Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to guests while maintaining high standards of presentation.
• Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, dining areas, and service stations according to health regulations.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and timely service.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly while adhering to cash handling procedures.

Experience

• Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required.
• Basic math skills for handling cash register transactions and processing payments effectively.
• Knowledge of food preparation and handling practices to ensure safe dining experiences for guests.
• Strong guest service skills with the ability to create a positive dining atmosphere through effective communication and interpersonal interactions.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in a busy environment.
