Looking for full time server with open availability

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service:

• Greet guests warmly and create a welcoming atmosphere.
• Food and beverage menu knowledge, ensuring your ability to answer questions, make recommendations, and navigate allergies/dietary restrictions.
• Ensure guests' needs are met throughout their dining experience.
• Handle customer complaints or concerns professionally and efficiently.

Order Taking and Service:

• Accurately take food and beverage orders from guests.
• Communicate orders clearly to the kitchen and bar staff using the POS system.
• Check on tables regularly to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Clear plates and keep tables tidy.

Payment and Check Handling:

• Present accurate checks to guests.
• Process electronic and cash payments.

Restaurant Operations:

• Assist with opening and closing procedures, such as setting tables and restocking supplies.
• Maintain a clean and organized dining area.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation regulations.
• Work as part of a team to ensure smooth restaurant operations.

Skills/Requirements:

• Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to interact with customers and staff in a clear and friendly manner.
• People Skills/Teamwork: Ability to build rapport with guests and anticipate their needs.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to take accurate orders and ensure food and beverages are served correctly.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to handle customer issues and resolve problems effectively.

• Physical Stamina:
• Ability to stand and move around for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Must be able to bend & reach
• Must be able to reliably commute to work.
• Must have or be able to acquire a valid AZ Food Handler’s certification from an accredited program.

Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check and E-Verify eligibility verification.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.15 per hour

Experience:

• Fine dining: 1 year (Preferred)
• Food service: 2 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• TIPS Certification (Required)
• Food Handler Certification (Required)

Shift availability:

• Day Shift (Preferred)
• Night Shift (Preferred)
