Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and attentive Server to join our vibrant hospitality team. In this role, you will be the friendly face that creates memorable dining experiences for our guests. Your enthusiasm, excellent customer service skills, and knowledge of food and beverage offerings will contribute to a lively atmosphere where guests feel welcomed and well cared for. As a Server, you will handle multiple responsibilities with efficiency and professionalism, ensuring every guest leaves satisfied and eager to return.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables with a friendly attitude.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Spoton, ensuring clear communication with kitchen and bar staff.
• Serve food and drinks promptly, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality.
• Process sales transactions efficiently, including cash handling, credit card processing, and upselling to enhance guest experience.
• Provide detailed knowledge about menu items, spirits, cocktails, and food options, to assist guests in making informed choices.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols.
• Foster guest relations through attentive service, addressing questions or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction.

Requirements

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Spoton.
• Strong knowledge of beverage service including spirits, wine, cocktails, and drink presentation.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours.
• Ability to upsell menu items confidently to increase sales while enhancing guest enjoyment.
• Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
• Previous experience in hospitality roles such as host/hostess or busser is beneficial but not required.
