Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Server to join our dynamic team in providing exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, food industry knowledge, and the ability to efficiently manage multiple tables in a fast-paced environment. Experience with POS systems and a passion for hospitality are essential to ensure smooth operations and memorable dining experiences for our guests.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, providing detailed descriptions of menu items.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable.
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation.
- Ensure guest needs are met throughout their dining experience, addressing any concerns promptly.
- Handle cash, process payments accurately, and manage cashiering duties with integrity.
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations by bussing and resetting tables efficiently.
- Follow food safety protocols, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling practices at all times.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and coordinate guest services seamlessly.
- Assist with additional responsibilities such as host/host duties or supporting nightclub operations if applicable.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant environment, or hospitality preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is highly desirable.
- Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on guest relations and guest satisfaction.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours.
- Ability to upsell menu items effectively while maintaining professionalism.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques.
- Previous experience in serving, bussing, or host/host roles is advantageous.
