Server/ bartender

Job description:

We are looking for a professional and outgoing Restaurant Server to provide the experience our guests at Chihuahua's Cantina & Grill are looking for. You will be the face of our restaurant and responsible for our customers’ experiences. As a Server you will make sure each customer's questions about menu items can be answered thoroughly while making recommendation's based on customer preference . An extensive knowledge of the food menu AND bar menu will be a necessity as will attention to quality of service. You need to be quick on your feet (literally and metaphorically) and have a polite and friendly attitude. If you enjoy talking to people and thrive in a fast-paced workplace, we’d like to meet you. Responsibilities

• Prepare restaurant tables with special attention and detail to sanitation
• Attend to customers upon entrance
• Smile, and greet each and every guest
• Present restaurant menus and help customers select food/beverages
• Extensive tequila and alcohol knowledge
• Answer questions or make recommendations for complementary products
• Collaborate with other restaurant servers and kitchen/bar staff
• Deal with complaints or problems with a positive attitude
• Proper bankroll management

Skills

• Proven restaurant serving or waitering experience
• Hands-on experience in cashier duties
• Attention to cleanliness and safety
• Patience and customer-oriented approach
• Excellent people skills with a friendly attitude
• Responsible and trustworthy
• High school diploma is a plus but not required
