Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Prepare and serve drinks, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages, adhering to safety standards
- Ensure proper food handling and food safety procedures are followed at all times
- Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately while processing payments efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas to meet health standards
- Assist with banquet or catering events, providing excellent service in various settings such as nightclubs or fine dining environments
- Use effective time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar stations simultaneously while maintaining high service quality
Requirements
- Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or retail math is highly desirable; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order entry and transaction processing
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and sales transactions
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy hours
- Experience in serving alcohol responsibly and understanding beverage preparation techniques
- Previous banquet or catering experience is advantageous but not required
- Must be able to stand, walk, and lift comfortably for extended periods; flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
