Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems- we will be using Toast.
• Prepare and serve drinks efficiently, ensuring quality presentation and adherence to food safety standards.
• Provide attentive customer service by anticipating guest needs, answering questions about menu items, and offering recommendations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including stocking supplies and managing inventory levels.
• Support food handling procedures during service, including serving meals at tables or in banquet settings.
• Handle cash transactions accurately through POS systems while managing cash handling responsibilities.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy nights at nightclubs or banquet events.
• Uphold food safety regulations and proper sanitation practices throughout all duties to ensure guest safety.
• Assist with catering setups or retail sales when needed, contributing to overall venue success.

Skills

• Proven experience in food service roles such as restaurant, fine dining, nightclub, or banquet environments.
• Strong knowledge of POS systems like Toast; basic math skills for cash handling and retail math are essential.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that enhances guest experiences.
• Ability to manage time effectively during high-volume shifts while maintaining attention to detail.
• Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
• Experience with serving alcohol responsibly in a hospitality setting; knowledge of brewing or bartending techniques is a plus.
