WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Exemplifies MCR’s values and set a great example by always demonstrating excellent guest service and professionalism.
- Practice, support and promote the mission, vision, and values of Muckleshoot Casino Resort.
- Prepare and maintain a detailed table, before, during and after guests are served.
- Take orders and present food to guests.
- Help guests’ select food and beverage items (i.e.: explaining daily specials, offering appetizers, or answering food preparation questions).
- Keep wait station area clean and restocked.
- Adhere to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies.
- Complete specific daily/weekly cleaning duties.
- Provide excellent guest service by providing a positive dining experience.
- Conclude dining experience by thanking the guests and inviting them to return.
- Create, maintains, and facilitates a positive work environment; promotes positive team member relations and reports issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Other duties as assigned.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- Ability to obtain a Class III B gaming license.
- Hold and maintain a valid WA State Health Card/Food Handlers Permit required.
- Alcohol Service Permit Class 12 required.
- 1 (one) year experience in bartending required.
- Bartending School or equivalent training preferred.
HOW YOU'LL BE SUCCESSFUL
- Knowledge and skill in mixology, beer, and wines, as well as alcohol safety awareness.
- Knowledge of P.O.S. systems.
- Knowledge of BERG liquor dispensing system.
- Knowledge of health & safety standards, and safety regulations as required.
- Skilled in basic math.
- Ability to demonstrate excellent guest service and communication skills.
- Ability to interact with guests, co-workers, management, and vendors in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner.
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and policy documents, as well as converse, write and read English fluently.
- Ability to maintain a neat, clean, and professional appearance.
- Must be 21 years or older.
