Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest service, ensure food and beverage orders are accurately taken and delivered, and create a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. Experience in fine dining or food service environments is preferred, along with strong communication and multitasking skills. Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
• Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering systems and manage cash handling responsibilities
• Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety standards are maintained at all times
• Assist with bussing tables, cleaning, and resetting tables for new guests
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
• Address guest inquiries or concerns professionally to ensure guest satisfaction
• Maintain cleanliness of service areas in accordance with sanitation guidelines

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, including fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs
• Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to build guest relations and handle guest complaints effectively
• Excellent time management skills to manage multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Ability to upsell menu items confidently to maximize sales opportunities
• Basic math skills for billing, cash handling, and order accuracy
• Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation procedures
• Experience in food preparation, food handling, or kitchen operations is a plus
• Previous host/host or bussing experience is advantageous
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends in a fast-paced environment
