Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as SkyTab POS or Toast POS, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and presentation
- Handle cash transactions efficiently, including processing payments via POS systems and giving correct change
- Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to ensure a pristine environment
- Manage reservations using OpenTable or similar platforms, coordinating seating arrangements for optimal flow
- Demonstrate excellent guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and fostering a welcoming atmosphere
- Support kitchen staff with basic food handling and sanitation practices as needed in a fine dining or nightclub setting
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightlife venues
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and relationship building
- Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
- Previous experience with serving, bussing tables, or host/hostess roles is highly desirable
- Basic math skills for cashiering duties including cash handling and transaction accuracy
- Culinary experience or kitchen familiarity is a plus but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential

Pay: $18.00 - $25.96 per hour
