Position: Server
We are looking for a polished, service-driven Server to join our team at an upscale restaurant and bar known for thoughtfully prepared menu items, craft cocktails, and exceptional guest experiences.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables with enthusiasm and professionalism
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using our POS systems/OpenTable, ensuring timely delivery
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
- Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring a positive dining experience
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while adhering to sanitation and food safety standards
- Assist with bussing tables, resetting dining areas quickly, and supporting kitchen staff when needed to ensure smooth operations
Qualifications
- Minimum one (1) year of serving experience in an upscale or high-volume restaurant setting
- Proficiency with POS systems /OpenTable; experience with food handling and sanitation protocols is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor
- Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Must be available to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food preparation practices
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently to maximize sales opportunities
- Basic math skills for cash handling, billing, and order accuracy
- Previous host/hostess or serving experience is advantageous but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate

Pay: $16.90 per hour
