Server - Part-Time/ 20 hours/Weekends

Position Summary

The Server is responsible for providing courteous, respectful, and timely dining service to residents in an Assisted Living and Memory Care environment. This role supports residents’ nutritional needs while promoting dignity, independence, and a pleasant dining experience. This position is part-time/20 hours/weekends.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Serve meals and beverages to residents in accordance with dietary needs and care plans
• Assist residents as needed during meals while encouraging independence
• Set up and break down dining rooms before and after meals
• Ensure meals are served safely, accurately, and in a timely manner
• Follow infection control, sanitation, and food safety guidelines at all times
• Provide friendly conversation and positive interaction with residents
• Clean tables, dining areas, and service stations
• Assist with dishwashing and kitchen clean-up as assigned
• Follow Memory Care protocols when serving residents with cognitive impairment
• Adhere to all facility policies, HIPAA, and resident confidentiality standards

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Previous food service or customer service experience preferred (not required)
• Experience working with seniors or individuals with dementia is a plus
• Ability to communicate clearly and compassionately with residents and staff
• Must be dependable, patient, and team-oriented

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
• Ability to bend, reach, and carry trays or supplies

Work Environment

• Assisted Living and Memory Care setting
• May require evenings, weekends, and holidays

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
