Server Platform Validation Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Server Platforms Engineer with deep expertise in Linux, Hyper-V, Proxmox, servers, storage systems, and datacenter operations. This role requires advanced technical knowledge to configure systems based on customer requirements and to troubleshoot and resolve complex Proxmox and Hyper-V issues.

The position involves direct coordination and collaboration with technical personnel across multiple specializations. The environment is fast-paced with high expectations for quality, communication, and turnaround time.

Candidates must demonstrate extensive experience with virtualization technologies, firmware patching, and Linux environments.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience: 5-7+ years of relevant technical experience

Key Responsibilities:

Demonstrate thorough understanding of historical and current Linux Server and Windows Server operating systems.

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft cloud technologies, including Azure and Office 365.
• Deep experience working with enterprise storage platforms such as Nimble, Dell SC/EMC, NetApp, and hyper-converged infrastructures like Nutanix, VxRack, and Simplivity.
• Extensive hands-on experience with virtualization platforms including Proxmox, VMware, and Hyper-V.
• Advanced storage connectivity experience with iSCSI, NFS, FC, and FCoE.
• Implement and support backup and disaster recovery solutions.
• Possess advanced Layer 3 networking and subnetting knowledge. 
• Strong working experience with Linux operating systems.
• Good understanding of AWS, GCP, and other cloud technologies.
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards such as HIPAA, PCI, and GDPR. 
• Working knowledge of common networking solutions; ability to collaborate with network architects to design end-to-end solutions.
• Work closely with onshore and offshore team members.
• Build positive business relationships with ISSQUARED vendors.
• Collaborate with post-sales engineers during solution deployment and transition to Managed Services.
• Stay updated on new product releases and industry developments.
• Share relevant insights and updates with team members and customers.

Preferred Skills:

• 5- 7+ years supporting IT solutions (Windows, VMware, Azure, storage, Linux).
• - 5+ years analyzing and documenting business processes.
