Server Position- Sushi Factory

We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Server to join our vibrant Sushi Factory team! Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables with a friendly, professional demeanor
• Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with the kitchen and bar staff
• Provide detailed menu descriptions, recommend specials, and upsell items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
• Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation
• Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns, and ensuring a positive dining experience
• Assist with bussing tables, resetting stations, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to uphold sanitation standards
• Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments efficiently using POS systems

Requirements

• Previous restaurant or food service experience, especially serving in fine dining or sushi establishments preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable for reservations and order management
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and hospitality excellence
• Knowledge of food handling procedures, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations
• Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing time efficiently
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with guests and team members
• Basic math skills for cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
• Experience with upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities
