Responsibilities

• Greet and serve guests in a warm, professional, and timely manner
• Learn and confidently explain menu items, including sushi, specialty drinks, sake, and seafood sustainability practices
• Take orders accurately and ensure food and beverages are delivered correctly
• Communicate effectively with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service flow
• Handle payments, tips, and guest feedback with professionalism
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and preparedness of service areas
• Support team members and assist with light side work as needed

Skills

• Prior serving experience in a fast-paced, upscale casual or fine dining restaurant
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Enthusiasm for sushi, sake, cocktails, and Asian cuisine (we’ll train you on the details)
• Ability to multitask under pressure with a positive attitude
• Must be reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Must be 18+ to serve alcohol

Bonus Points If You:

• Have knowledge of sushi, sake, or Japanese cuisine
• Have bartending or hosting experience (cross-training potential)
• Want to grow into lead server or management roles

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
