Position Overview

Tanner’s Wine & Tapas is seeking an experienced, hospitality-driven Server/Bartender to join our growing team. As an elevated wine and craft cocktail destination, we’re looking for someone who thrives in an intimate, fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences.

This is a hybrid role requiring confidence in both full-service dining and bartending. The ideal candidate has strong wine knowledge, cocktail proficiency, and a natural ability to connect with guests.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Experience

• Provide warm, attentive, and knowledgeable service from greeting to farewell
• Guide guests through our globally inspired tapas menu, wine list, and craft cocktail offerings
• Make thoughtful pairing recommendations
• Anticipate guest needs and create memorable experiences

Bartending

• Prepare and serve craft cocktails, wine, and beer with consistency and attention to detail
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient bar area
• Manage bar inventory and assist with ordering as needed
• Ensure responsible alcohol service

Service Operations

• Accurately enter orders and process payments using POS system
• Coordinate timing of tapas courses with kitchen staff
• Maintain cleanliness of dining room and bar area
• Assist with opening and closing duties
• Support private events and special programming as needed

Qualifications

• 2+ years of serving and/or bartending experience (wine-focused or upscale dining preferred)
• Strong knowledge of wine varietals and basic food pairings
• Craft cocktail experience required
• Ability to multitask and stay composed in a fast-paced setting
• Professional, polished, and personable demeanor
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude
• Availability for evenings and weekends

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $35.00 per hour
