Server/Bartender

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server/Bartender to join our dynamic team for our new restaurant in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. This role involves serving food and beverages, managing the bar area, and ensuring a memorable experience for our guests in both fine dining settings.

Duties

• Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and serving food and beverages promptly.
• Utilize Aloha POS or Micros POS systems for order entry and payment processing.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas, adhering to food safety standards.
• Prepare and serve alcoholic beverages, ensuring compliance with all local laws regarding alcohol service.
• Assist with banquet and catering events, providing support as needed for large parties.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties.
• Demonstrate strong time management skills to efficiently manage multiple tables or bar patrons.
• Engage with guests to promote menu items, enhancing sales through effective communication.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders.
• Uphold high standards of food handling practices in accordance with health regulations.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred; fine dining experience is a plus.
• Clover POS
• Must be 21 years old
• Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on hospitality.
• Basic math skills for handling payments and making change accurately.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
• Experience in brewing or cocktail preparation is an advantage.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team setting.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $8.75 - $15.00 per hour
