Server/Bartender

Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive service throughout their visit, ensuring a positive experience from start to finish
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, and relay orders efficiently to kitchen staff
• Prepare and serve a variety of drinks, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages, adhering to safety standards and recipes
• Manage cash handling and cashiering duties accurately while maintaining proper cash register procedures
• Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards by following proper food handling practices and sanitation protocols
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and maximize sales opportunities in a lively environment such as a nightclub or catering event
• Assist with setup and breakdown during catering or banquet events, ensuring seamless service delivery in high-volume settings

Experience

• Prior restaurant or food service experience is essential; fine dining or banquet experience is highly preferred
• Demonstrated proficiency with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively in fast-paced environments
• Experience working in nightlife venues like nightclubs or catering events is advantageous
• Knowledge of food safety regulations, basic math for cash handling, retail math for sales transactions, and food industry standards is required
• Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail in serving and bartending tasks
• Previous experience with brewing or hospitality roles that involve serving alcohol is a plus
