Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly, professional, and service-oriented Bartender and Server to join our team at the Holiday Inn Hotel Bar. This role combines exceptional customer service with beverage knowledge and food service, ensuring guests enjoy a high-quality and memorable experience.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests according to standard recipes.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including tools, glasses, and equipment.
- Follow responsible alcohol service protocols and verify guest age as required.
- Take beverage orders from guests and servers.
- Monitor and replenish stock levels of bar supplies and ingredients.
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and operate POS system accurately.
- Demonstrate strong time management skills to handle multiple orders during peak hours.
Serving Duties:
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and timely manner.
- Present menus, take food and beverage orders, and deliver items promptly.
- Explain menu items and specials, making recommendations as needed.
- Ensure guest satisfaction throughout the dining and drinking experience.
- Clear tables, reset dining areas, and maintain cleanliness of the service area.

Qualifications
- Previous experience in bartending or food service within a restaurant or nightclub setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or Micros POS systems is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and processing payments accurately.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and practices in the food industry.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs (e.g., cases of beverages, bar supplies).
