Server/Bartender

Responsibilities

• Take orders accurately using Toast POS
• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic options, maintaining high standards of presentation.
• Provide attentive customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions about menu items, and offering personalized recommendations.
• Handle cash transactions and perform cashiering duties with precision, including cash handling and basic math calculations.
• Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards by following proper food handling procedures during serving and food preparation.
• Assist in setting up banquet events or catering functions when required, ensuring all guest needs are met seamlessly.
• Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables or bar patrons efficiently while maintaining a lively and positive attitude.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant or food service experience is preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems and handheld devices to process orders accurately.
• Strong customer service skills with an energetic approach to engaging guests in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques.
• Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, retail math for sales transactions, and accurate billing.
• Experience in serving alcohol responsibly in compliance with liquor laws; bartending skills are highly valued.
• Excellent time management skills to juggle multiple responsibilities efficiently during busy hours.

Pay: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour
