Server/Bartender

Job Summary

Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met
• Take food and drink orders accurately using Toast POS
• Provide attentive customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions about menu items, and making recommendations to enhance their experience
• Handle cash transactions efficiently with cash handling skills and cashiering procedures
• Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in all serving areas, adhering to proper food handling protocols
• Set up and break down tables or bar areas for service
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food and beverages during busy hours or catering events

Requirements

• Proven experience in food service, bartending, & hospitality roles
• Familiarity with Toast POS system
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar stations effectively during peak hours; high volume experience is preferred
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team and on your own
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that creates a welcoming atmosphere
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques
• Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, billing, and retail math calculations
• Experience in catering or banquet settings is a plus
• Previous restaurant and bartending experience is required; brewing or beverage-specific knowledge is an advantage
