Server/Bartender

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Server/Bartender to join our team in a fast-paced, fine dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional customer service skills and have experience in both serving and bartending. You will be responsible for providing an outstanding dining experience for our guests, ensuring they receive prompt and attentive service while maintaining a high standard of food safety and quality.

Duties

• Greet and seat guests in a friendly manner, providing menus and information about specials.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems.
• Prepare and serve drinks according to established recipes and standards, ensuring proper presentation.
• Provide recommendations on food pairings and drink selections to enhance the dining experience.
• Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during busy periods.
• Process payments efficiently through cash handling and cashiering duties.
• Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, dining room, and service stations, adhering to food safety regulations.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during peak hours.
• Assist with banquet events and catering services as needed, showcasing versatility in various settings.
• Handle customer inquiries or complaints professionally, striving for resolution to enhance guest satisfaction.

Experience

• Previous experience in a restaurant or nightclub setting is preferred, with a focus on fine dining or high-volume establishments.
• Familiarity with POS systems is highly desirable.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent sales skills with an understanding of retail math to assist in upselling menu items.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques is essential.
• Basic math skills are required for accurate order processing and cash handling.
