Server/Bartender

Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Bartender/Server to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a strong background in hospitality. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating unique beverages, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. Your expertise in retail math, food safety, and various POS systems will be essential in delivering an outstanding experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes or customer preferences.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
• Engage with customers to take orders, provide recommendations, and ensure satisfaction with their experience.
• Handle cash register transactions accurately, including processing payments and managing tabs.
• Monitor inventory levels of bar supplies and assist in ordering as needed to maintain stock.
• Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines to ensure the health and safety of patrons.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders when applicable.
• Stay updated on drink trends, brewing techniques, and cocktail recipes to enhance the menu offerings.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of retail math for managing cash flow and inventory effectively.
• Experience in nightclub or bar settings is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with brewing processes is a plus.
• Proficient in using Heartland/Genius POS or similar point-of-sale systems for efficient order processing.
• Excellent hospitality skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
• Understanding of food service operations and food safety standards is essential.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
