Explorium Distilled is seeking energetic, hospitality-driven Server/Bartenders to join our team in Milwaukee's vibrant Deer District. As a Server/Bartender, you'll play a key role in representing our brand by providing genuine hospitality, expert menu knowledge, and outstanding service to every guest. We are a close-knit team that takes pride in helping each other before, during, and after service.

Opportunities will also be available for shifts at our other locations including The Explorium Brewpubs in the Third Ward, Wauwatosa, and Greendale as well as The Rooftop at WayfinderMKE on Milwaukee's East Side.

Duties

• Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, ensuring a positive first impression.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately usingToast POS system.
• Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials, specialty cocktails, Explorium beer, and make recommendations to enhance the guest experience through upselling.
• Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation.
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
• Maintain an organized and clean bar area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience, addressing any concerns promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order preparation and presentation.
• Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area.
• Process payments efficiently, handling cash transactions with accuracy while adhering to cash handling policies.
• Participate in training sessions on food handling, sanitation practices, and customer service techniques.

Experience

• Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred, but not necessary.
• Familiarity with Toast POS or Yelp systems is advantageous.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy setting.
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
• Basic math skills for processing orders and handling cash transactions accurately.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques.
• Culinary experience or kitchen knowledge is beneficial but not required.
