Server/Cashier

Overview
We are seeking a customer-oriented Server/Cashier to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests while efficiently managing food orders and transactions. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service, strong communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. This role encompasses all aspects of the front of house operations at Heirloom Market BBQ - assisting guests, packaging orders, and maintaining the workspace.

Duties

• Greet and assist customers as they check in to pick up their order.
• Package and deliver food items to customers in accordance with food safety standards.
• Operate POS system for order processing and payment transactions.
• Handle cash and card transactions with precision and maintain accurate cash handling practices.
• Become knowledgeable about our menu items and be able to assist guests with ordering.
• Ensure cleanliness and maintaining a tidy environment for guests.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and concerns promptly.

Skills

• Previous experience in food service, customer service, or restaurant settings is preferred.
• Proficient time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
• Experience in quick service or fast food environments is beneficial.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 pounds throughout a shift.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Base Pay: $10.00 - $17.00 per hour
