Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server/Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while efficiently managing food and beverage orders. You will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests, ensuring their dining experience is enjoyable and memorable. We are open Thursday - Sunday, 11:00am- 8:00pm. We are mainly looking for closers for Saturday and Sundays but may vary.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with menu selections.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
- Process transactions using the clover POS system, ensuring all payments are handled securely.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area, including bussing tables and resetting them for new guests.
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales.
- Assist in restocking supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
- Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a culinary or retail environment is preferred but not mandatory.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing cash flow.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of sanitation practices to ensure food safety standards are met.
- Willingness to help colleagues as needed, fostering a team-oriented atmosphere.
