Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly, take food and beverage orders accurately, and serve with enthusiasm to create a welcoming atmosphere.
• Assist with food preparation and plating under the guidance of culinary staff, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
• Clear tables promptly, bussing dishes efficiently to maintain a clean dining environment.
• Wash dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment thoroughly to uphold food safety and sanitation standards.
• Support kitchen staff by organizing supplies, restocking items, and maintaining cleanliness in food prep areas.
• Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations.
• Assist with general cleaning duties including sanitizing surfaces, sweeping floors, and maintaining overall hygiene in the dining and kitchen areas.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, or the food industry is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and willingness to learn.
• Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a busy environment.
• Experience with food production, meal preparation, serving, or dietary department operations is advantageous.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and professional demeanor.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while maintaining attention to detail.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy items safely, and perform cleaning duties as needed.
