Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and warmly, providing attentive and personalized service throughout their visit
• Manage guest seating arrangements and reservations with efficiency and professionalism
• Take orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Toast POS, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff
• Respond to guest inquiries via phone or in person, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and guest relations skills
• Assist with guest needs during their dining experience, including serving food and beverages with hospitality and care
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/hostess station and dining area to uphold high standards of hygiene and presentation
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and a positive guest experience at all times

Skills

• Previous host/hostess experience or food service background preferred, especially within restaurant or hotel settings
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with guests and team members
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Toast POS for order processing
• Knowledge of hospitality standards, including guest services, serving techniques, and phone etiquette
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Experience in hotel or guest relations roles is a plus, demonstrating adaptability across various hospitality settings
• Positive, can do attitude
• A willingness to take initiative and problem solve

Pay: $2.13 - $10.00 per hour
