Server/Waiter

```Overview:
Randy's University Diner seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented Server to join our team. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent service to our guests and ensuring their dining experience is enjoyable. Servers generally are scheduled 4-5 days per week, mornings AND evenings, including weekends. We are very flexible with our scheduling, and can accommodate almost everyone's needs. Randy's University Diner has been in business for over 45 years, and we owe our success to our wonderful staff, which results in a growing company, incredibly fast ticket times and table turn times, and a positive team and work environment.

Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests in a timely and friendly manner
- Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently
- Provide menu recommendations and answer any questions about the menu
- Serve food and beverages to guests promptly and accurately
- Check on guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction
- Clear tables and reset them for the next guest
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth service
- Handle guest complaints or concerns with professionalism and resolve issues promptly
- Process payments accurately using the POS system

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required
- Excellent sales skills with the ability to upsell menu items
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen operations
- Exceptional hospitality and guest service skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment

Please note that this position requires standing for long periods of time, lifting trays, bending, and carrying heavy trays or equipment.

Mornings and nights are required.
