Tips are split and distributed to waitstaff on top of base pay.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables with enthusiasm and professionalism
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring quick and correct entry
• Provide detailed menu descriptions, recommend specials, and upsell items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and presentation
• Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a positive dining experience
• Clear tables, bussing dishes, and assisting with food preparation or kitchen support as needed
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while adhering to proper sanitation protocols

Qualifications

• Bilingual in Mandarin Chinese and English is preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable for order processing and billing
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Knowledge of food handling, sanitation standards, and food safety regulations
• Ability to upsell menu items confidently to maximize sales opportunities
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and billing procedures
• Experience in serving or host/hostess roles within the food industry is highly desirable
