Server/Waiter/Bartender

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic server/bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for pouring beer, and mixing cocktails, along with providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a server/bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, ensuring cleanliness, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. Everyone on our team is responsible to take care of their own tables, clean/bring food to their table, and bus their own sections.

Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including sanitizing surfaces and equipment.
• Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring adherence to food handling safety standards.
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for order processing and payment transactions. (Self lane Point of Sale)
• Engage with customers, providing recommendations and upselling menu items to enhance their dining experience.
• Manage time effectively during busy shifts to ensure timely service without compromising quality.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow between the bar and dining areas.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations related to food service and alcohol handling.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of drink recipes and mixology techniques.
• Proficient in basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours.
• Experience in fine dining or high-volume establishments is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
• Familiarity with food preparation techniques and kitchen operations is a plus.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
